Some Pennsylvania Republicans Turning Democrat? Why?

"As of Sunday [April 6, 2008, Pennsylvania] "Democrats enjoy a 185,413 to 181,941 edge in Bucks County, and a 245,209 to 238,208 edge in Montgomery County," reports the Morning-Call of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The Tribune Company-owned publication said, "Republican activists in both counties plan post-primary drives in the hopes of luring the faithful back. Pennsylvania's primary is April 22," the publication noted.
